Pricing has also been rumored to be aggressive, but quite how so has been conjecture till now. YouTube channel Moore's Law is Dead has apparently spoken to several sources and each has offered the same pricing for each of the new graphics cards, which is the strongest indication yet that these could be the final figures we're looking at and they're good.
The RTX 4070 Super is slated to retail for $599, which is just $50 more than the original version. However, it's meant to offer performance close to the RTX 4070 Ti , which you'll currently struggle to pick up for less than $750, so it could end up being a killer card for around $600. The sources also back up previous rumors that the RTX 4070 will continue to exist alongside the new Super model, with the older card getting a welcome price cut too.
The RTX 4070 Ti Super is supposed to retail for $799, which is a little higher than you can pick up some RTX 4070 Ti's right now. However, its performance will be closer to the mighty RTX 4080, likely thanks to a 4GB boost to its memory from 12GB to 16GB plus more stream processors and a rumored wider memory bus too. You'll find it hard to locate an RTX 4080 for much less than $1200 so a card that performs close to the same for just $800 could be very attractive, especially for high resolution gamers.
Finally, the RTX 4080 Super is meant to cost $999, but one source has said it could end up being $1200. The latter would make more sense given even the cheapest RTX 4080 costs over $1100 and the new card is meant to close the gap to the RTX 4090, which is a $2000 graphics card.
AMD's pricing currently has the Radeon RX 7900 XTX at around $950 and the RX 7900 XT at around $800 so they seem to be under threat from the RTX 4080 Super and RTX 4070 Ti respectively.
